The Faculty of Economics in Zagreb, as a partner in the Erasmus+ project “SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS IN EDUCATION AND IN ACTION!” (ESDGS!), organized a presentation of the project in the premises of the Croatian Chamber of Commerce. The hosts were the project manager, associate professor, Ph.D. Mihovil Anđelinović and members of the project team, associate professor, Ph.D. Davor Labaš, Ph.D. and Ph.D. Ana Pavković. The primary goal of this project is to promote a sustainable approach in the context of sustainable development goals in society and economy through the creation of an educational module (with national modifications).
On this occasion, Anita tried to bring to the attention of all participants the importance of transformations towards the sustainability of not only producers but also consumers. Full realization of the goals of sustainable development within the framework of the UN 2030 Program is possible only if we switch to more sustainable lifestyles. Sustainable Development Goals 4 and 12 directly mention the concept of sustainable lifestyles. However, if we take a closer look, we will realize that all the Sustainable Development Goals are related to pursuing more sustainable lifestyles. There is no sustainable development without sustainable living.
Other speakers were Ivana Gažić, president of the Zagreb Stock Exchange, Mario Šiljeg, director of the Water Institute Josip Juraj Strossmayer, Ksenija Petričević, senior manager at Ernst&Young, Antonija Hudinčec, director of finance at INTECE and Ivana Bračun, head of investor relations at Atlantic Group.
